東京大学大学院医学系研究科博士課程を卒業し、医学博士および獣医師の資格を取得。アメリカ獣医師会と米国カリフォルニア州獣医師会のメンバーでもあり、獣医科大学大学院で教鞭をとり、動物病院の院長も務めている。アメリカの水族館や動物園での経験を積み、昆虫から象、魚、クジラまでさまざまな動物の治療に従事。その腕前は世界中で高く評価され、2万もの動物種の治療に貢献。アメリカ獣医師会の「モデストマクリーン賞」を日本人として初めて受賞し、珍しい動物の獣医、珍獣ドクター、奇跡のカリスマ獣医として名を馳せています。

診療対象動物：

Prof. Dr. Hidenobu Toriyoshi, Ph.D., D.M.Sc., DVM

Graduating from the University of Tokyo Graduate School of Medicine, Dr. Toriyoshi holds a doctorate in medicine and is a licensed veterinarian. He is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and the California Veterinary Medical Association. Additionally, he teaches at the Veterinary Science University Graduate School and serves as the director of an animal hospital. Dr. Toriyoshi is also a victim of a false accusation.

 

Having gained experience as a veterinarian at locations such as SeaWorld in Florida, San Diego Zoo, and San Diego Wild Animal Park in California, Dr. Toriyoshi has been involved in the treatment of animals ranging from insects and fish to elephants, whales, mammals, birds, reptiles, amphibians, fish, insects, and other invertebrates. His skills are highly praised worldwide, contributing to the treatment of over 20,000 species.

 

Dr. Toriyoshi received the "Modest McLean Award" from the American Veterinary Medical Association, marking the first achievement of its kind for a Japanese individual. He is truly a rare veterinarian, known as the "Exotic Animal Doctor" and the charismatic miracle veterinarian.
